Horse Camp Session Dates for 2024
Camp Session: June 24th - June 28th - FULL!
Camp Session: July 15th - July 19th - ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT!
We teach teamwork, horsemanship, basic horse handling & safety, horse behavior and training!
Some weeks, we may have special guests (based on their availability) to give the children demonstrations and information about horse related careers such as farrier, equine dentist, vet, horse trainer, massage and cold laser therapist, equine chiropractor, barn manager and more!
Campers will enjoy plenty of time with the horses, correct and classical riding instruction, playing both mounted and ground work games with the horses, learning how to catch a horse, properly halter, lead and lunge a horse!
Campers will learn horse nutrition, assist in helping to take care of their horse's needs (hay and water etc..)
Learn about horse behavior and social interactions.
We also play fun games that build muscle memory related to riding, foster teamwork and cultivate character and create lasting friendships and a lifelong love of horses!
Each Friday we will wrap up that week's session with a pizza party! So no need to pack lunch that day but, please still pack snacks and plenty of hydration! :)
Parents please pack

Full lunch, a snack and PLENTY to drink. [NO microwave food items please. :)]

Bathing suit and beach towel.

Change of clothes and water shoes, Crocs or similar
(No open toed shoes, NO flip flops)

Long pants, jeans, jeggins etc for riding.

A shoe or boot with a half inch heel.

Riding helmet if you have one that is still certified,
[HAS NOT BEEN INVOLVED IN A FALL OR THROWN.
Bike helmets are not appropriate.]
No Worries!! If you don't have a helmet, a proper fitting one will be provided for you.
